ADA-Services for Zephaniah Solomon Davis, 21, of Ada, are 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Dustin, Oklahoma, Rev. Odell Hardeman will officiate. Burial will follow at Pigeon Cemetery in Dustin. A Wake service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.
Mr. Davis died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 near Ada. He was born June 18, 1990 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Mark and Carolyn Tiger. He came to the Ada area in 2001 from Seminole. He was a member of the Emmanuel Temple of Praise Church.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Tiger of Ada; his father, Mark Davis of Ada; five sisters, Marcella Walters and Celesta Walters, both of Ada, Marketta Davis, Talina Davis and Jasmine Davis, all of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Zack Davis of Ada, and Christopher Davis of Oklahoma City; his girlfriend and her daughter, Brittany Smith and Emile Smith, both of Stonewall; his maternal grandmother, Lizzie Haynes, Wewoka; maternal grandfather, Harold Haynes, Wewoka; maternal great grandmother, Lena Proctor, Dustin; great grandfather, Charlie Proctor, Dustin; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Ray Tiger; maternal grandfather, Soloman Walters; paternal grandmother, Dora Davis; paternal grandfather, Merle Davis; and an aunt, Sobena Walters.
Bearers will be Raymond Davis, Miles Toney, Brandon Kaniotobe, Kyle Holden, Chris Vineyard and Jonathan Colunga. Honorary bearers will be Michael Toney, Bryan Twobabies, Josiah Proctor, Alex Proctor, Joseph Proctor and Brian Proctor.
