Yvonne Pruitt

Services for Yvonne Pruitt, 83, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Daniel will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Pruitt passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her home. She was born May 18, 1935 at Ada to William and Flora Jones Ballard. She attended Irving Grade School and graduated from Ada High School. She attended Lee College, a bible training school in Cleveland, TN.

She married Dexter Pruitt October 12, 1952 in Ada. He preceded her in death March 28, 2016 in Ada. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Dexter Pruitt.

Yvonne was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a remarkable cook and hostess. She especially delighted in her Friday afternoon "support group" in her later years.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sheri Pruitt and husband Steve Romero and Tammy Prentice and husband Mark Prentice; her grandchildren, Kacie Malloy and husband Brett, Brian Pruitt and Charles Prentice; her great-grandchildren, Natalie Jussely, Braesen Pruitt and Kolen Pruitt; and many loving relatives and close friends.
