Yvonne Johnson

Memorial services for Yvonne J. Johnson, 84, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa.  Pastor Kellos Walker and Pastor Frank Moppin will officiate.

Ms. Johnson passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at her home.  She was born May 14, 1941, in America, OK to Mack Elroy and Lenora Sanford Jackson.

Ms. Johnson loved sewing, playing softball, fishing and traveling.

She is survived by her two sons, Norman Johnson of Ada and George Johnson, Jr. of Helena, OK; two daughters, Georgette Johnson of Sacaton, Arizona and Melinda Tapia of Ada; five grandchildren, Rachel Johnson, Christian Watson, Trevor Watson, Tia Hubbard, and Derrick Hubbard; and five great grandchildren, Madden Kowa Hubbard, TéAta Johnson, Jace Boomer Juliano, Stormy R. Hubbard, and Grayson Hubbard.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Johnson.
