WINONA MINOR
ADA-Services for Winona Zoa (Heathman) Minor, 98, of Ada, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate assisted by Dr. Rusty Fuller. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Minor died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at a local care center. She was born September 27, 1915 at Hart, Oklahoma to Ervin Howard and Zoa Mae Underhill Heathman. She graduated from Holdenville High School and attended Okmulgee Tech and East Central University.
She married Vance Minor on March 3, 1952 in Ada. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2006. Mrs. Minor was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 35 years.
Survivors include four nieces, Wanda Petty, Indianapolis, IN, Nadine Sweeney, Ada, Reba Daniel and Barbara Langley, both of Stonewall; four nephews, Gene Minor, Rockwall, TX, Gary Minor, Amarillo, TX, Phillip Minor, Austin TX, and Tony Minor, Henryetta, OK; three cousins, Louena Sawyer, Ada, Wiley Underhill, Ada and Paul Coplin, Ada; two aunts, Gwendolyn Jaworsky and Billy Jean Beaty both of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a nephew, Alvin (Bud) Minor; and an aunt, Margie Coplin.
Bearers will be Bill Spain, Tony Minor, Gene Minor, Mark Clark, Shane Sweeney and Curt Sweeney.
