PEARLENE HOOD
MOORE- Graveside services for Winnie Pearlene Steele Hood, 83, of Moore, formerly of Ada, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Swan Hill Cemetery. Rev. Lynn Ice will officiate.
Ms. Hood died Tuesday, September 5, 2007 at a Moore Hospital. She was born January 25, 1924 at Ada, Oklahoma to George and Winnie Sauders Steele. She attended schools in Mountainaire, New Mexico.
She retired after 21 years of service as a seamstress from Blue Bell Wrangler in Ada, Oklahoma
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Thompson; a son, James Hood; a daughter-in-law, Jean Hood; her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Hood and wife, Dot, of Norman, and Don Hood and wife Diane, of Paoli, OK; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty-three great grandchildren.
