WILLIE MAE ROBERTSON
DOTHAN, ALABAMA-Services for Willia Mae "Billie" Hill Robertson, 84, of Dothan, Alabama, formerly of the Ada area are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at a Dothan, Alabama hospital. She was born July 16, 1928 at Fittstown, Oklahoma to Oscar S. and Ida Mae Stewart Batson Hill. She and her family moved to Ada when she was a young girl. She graduated from Horace Mann High School in Ada in 1945. She was employed by Hazel Atlas Glass Company in Ada.
She married Edward (Mac) Robertson on April 11, 1951 in Sherman, Texas. He preceded her in death. She and her husband had lived in Texas, Germany, Alaska and Del City, OK during Mac's military service. After retirement, they moved to Byng, OK for many years. Mrs. Robertson moved to Georgetown, Georgia the last few years to be near her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Robertson Anderson of Georgetown, GA; her grandchildren, Joseph Robertson, Thomas Anderson and Reanna Anderson; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Jack Batson, Kenneth Batson and Doyal Batson; and sisters, Leola Batson Kidd, Loraine Batson Patterson and Viola Batson Morgan.
