WILLIE MAY HARRIS
ADA-Services for Willie May Harris, 82, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Curtis Colbert will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her home. She was born October 28, 1929 in the Jack Fork Community near Stonewall, Oklahoma to Thomas and Sara "Sallie" Franklin Brown. She lived all her life in this area and attended Napier High School.
She married Tom Harris in Ada, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1996. Mrs. Harris was a housekeeper and was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Sally Harris of Ada, Haley Harris and Doug Seals, of Ada, and Denise Harris of Ada; three sons, Tompson Junior Harris of McAlester, Andrew Harris and wife Queena of Ada and Wade Wright and wife Lillie of Pauls Valley; a loyal friend, Don Cubitt of Ada; a granddaughter-in-law, Shirley Fulsom Runnels; 19 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six sisters, Viola Walker, Ruth Richardson, Clara Alfred, Wilma Black, Doris Wright and her husband Frank, and an infant sister; three brothers, Earl Brown, Kelly Brown and Eddie Brown; and a grandson, Richard Runnels.
Bearers will be Keith Currethers, Lasanta Harris, Dennise Brown, David Brown, Terrence Harris, and Steven Ayers. Honorary bearers will be Don Harris, Tommy Wright, James Leo Wright, Howard Brown, Jerry Brown, James Dean Harris and Nigel Harris. Flower bearers will be Kimberly Brown, Koko Harris, Nikesha Harris, Jessica Jordan, Kasee Fulsom and Stephanie Raymond.
