Willie Dansby

Graveside services for Willie Oscar Dansby, 83, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Ken Angel will officiate.

Mr. Dansby passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 17, 1937 near Roff, OK to Willie Ware and Katherine Summers Dansby. He attended Hart and Lawrence Grade Schools and graduated from Fitzhugh High School.

He married Kaye G. Wyche. She preceded him in death in 2007. He later married Pat Howell Ballard in 2009. Mr. Dansby was a lineman for O. G. & E. and was the foreman for the Southeast District retiring after 33 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Pat of the home; son, Willie Keith Dansby, Springdale, AR; daughter, Vickie Lynn Coulson, Byng; three step-children, Debbie Mathis, Bill Ballard and Mike Ballard; brother, Paul Dansby, Ada; sister, Phyllis Sharpe, Midwest City; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Kaye.
