William "Dan" Randolph
A Memorial Service for William "Dan" Randolph will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.
On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, William Daniel Randolph, loving husband and best friend of Diana passed away at age 70. Dan was born September 20th 1952 in Ada Oklahoma to Emmett and Doris Randolph. He graduated Byng High school in 1970 and went on to graduate from the Elkins school of Broadcasting. After broadcasting school, he worked at KTEN FM93 Ada, KWSH in Wewoka, KTLS Ada and KADA Ada. Later on, he graduated from CLEET to pursue a career in Law Enforcement under the direction of Sheriffs Kaiser, Glase and Peterson before returning to KADA Radio. Dan served the Byng community as Fire Chief, City Councilman and umpire for Little League Coach Pitch for many years before retiring.
On June 9th 1984 he married Diana Gibb in Ada. Dan had a passion for photography and had his photos printed in The Spirit of Oklahoma. He was also a very good woodworker who could build anything his mind could think of. He also enjoyed fishing and travelling and was especially drawn to the Smoky Mountains and the many other national parks. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt, and his mother, Doris as well as several uncles, Aunts and cousins.
He is survived by his wife Diana, sister-in-law Alison Faulkner and husband Alan, two nieces, one nephew, his Aunts HarryAnne White and Nancy Dillard and many cousins.
