BILL SCRIBNER
STONEWALL-Services for William Harold "Bill" Scribner, 78, Stonewall, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Chapel. Burial will follow at Jesse Cemetery in Stonewall.
Mr. Scribner died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at a Coalgate hospital. He was born June 20, 1929 at Russellville, Arkansas to James Wiley and Zelma Moore Scribner. He graduated high school in Russellville, Arkansas.
He married Reba Pauline Lafevers in 1972. He worked for over twenty years and later retired from the Boeing Aircraft Assembly Plant in Seattle, Washington. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Stonewall Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Scribner, of the home; two sons, William H. Scribner, Jr. and Lonnie Scribner, both of Kent, WA; two daughters, Dianne Glenn, Yacolto, WA, and Rhonda Otten, Renton, WA; one brother, James Scribner, Conroe, AR; two sisters, Mabel Johnson and Lillian Price, both of Russellville, AR; sixteen grandchildren, Jennifer Scribner, Shay Scribner, Brett Scribner, Valerie Scribner, Crystal Glenn, Laura Ayers, Cindy Glenn, Dale Otten, Donald Otten, Roslen Otten, Stephanie Matz, Lyndsay Jones, Kristin Scribner, Michael Scribner, Ross Costa and Kendra Armbruster; seven great grandchildren, Troy Otten, Braden Scribner, Domineau Whitecot, Elijah Scribner, Ross Costa, Jr., Chandler Ryan Costa and Blake Armbruster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a step-daughter, Debra Kay Egger.
