BILL BOUDREAUX
ADA-No services are planned at this time for William L. "Bill" Boudreaux, 65, Ada. His wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes dispersed in the Gulf of Mexico.
Mr. Boudreaux died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at his home. He was born September 17, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Paul and Cecile Waguespack Boudreaux. He graduated from Nichols State University with a double major in Physics and math.
He married Sherry E. Wood at Lake Murray, Oklahoma on June 15, 1984. She preceded him in death on August 5, 1995.
Mr. Boudreaux was employed by Baker SE Service Company developing the 1st multi-acting sleeve for gravel packing. He also invented several other patents while employed with the company. Next he worked for U. S. Industries where he developed a program to reduce pneumatic platform shut down time from 2 minutes to 15 seconds. In 1999, he was asked to establish a "Health Plan" for the country of Hungary and after several trips to Budapest a plan was implemented and put into effect. Mr. Boudreaux was a banking and mortgage loan officer in Norman until retiring in 2008. He served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his companion, Jenny Dove, of the home; a daughter, Shannon Boudreaux of Houston, TX; a brother, Jeffry Boudreaux of New Orleans, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Cecile Boudreaux; and his brothers, Emile Boudreaux and Harold Boudreaux.
