Willa Thomas

Graveside Services for Willa Dean Thomas, 77, of Stonewall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Thomas Cemetery near Stonewall. Pastor Stan Smith will officiate. A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the family home.

Ms. Thomas passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1941 in Stonewall to Milburn "Buck" and Bellzora Allen Thomas. She was a graduate from Sequoyah Boarding School.

Ms. Thomas was a retired electronics operator for Texas Instruments.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Valdez and husband Bill; two sons, Buddy Wesley and wife Ruby and Michael Montanez and wife Michelle; a sister, Betty and Barney Barnoski; a sister-in-law, Judy Thomas; nine grandchildren, Monica, Adam, Rachel, Emanuel, Ruben, Ben, Brittany, Anthony, Jeremy and Jalissa; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandra Dee Wesley; sister, Leo Belle Thomas; and a brother, John Quincy Thomas.

Bearers will be Adam Valdez, Emanuel Valdez, Ruben Wesley, Ben Wesley, Matthew Barnoski, Timothy Deatherage, Nathan Rosales and Alex Rosales.
