ADA-No services are planned at this time for Willa Mae "Peggy" Holkum, 73, of Ada.
Mrs. Holkum died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Solara hospital in Shawnee. She was born January 12, 1939 in Davis, Oklahoma to Arthur and Lavida Roberts Davenport. She grew up on the Horseshoe Ranch, south of Roff and attended school there on the ranch. She also attended Fitzhugh schools.
She married James Holkum on December 14, 1962. Mrs. Holkum was a homemaker and was previously employed with Big 5 Headstart as a teacher and had also been employed with City Finance.
Survivors include her husband, James Holkum, of the home; a son, Rick Holkum and his wife Vickie of Ardmore; two daughters, Vicki Holkum of Midwest City, and Tina Holkum of Ada; a granddaughter, Delaney Holkum of Midwest City; a brother, Leo Davenport and his wife Barbara of Comanche, TX; and two sisters, Patsy Anson and her husband Glen of Perry, and Sue Young and her husband Henry of Ada.
