Whitney Howard

Services for Whitney Rachelle Howard, 29, of Stonewall are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the First Baptist Church, 521 S. Broadway, Ada, OK. Zac Christian will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Howard passed away Friday, January 3, 2020, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born December 30, 1990, in Ada to Allen and Carol Moon Bynum. She graduated from Stonewall High School in 2009 and East Central University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 2013.

She married Taylor Howard on September 14, 2013. Taylor and Whitney have one son, Jackson Mark. Jackson was the light of Whitney's life, and her love for him shined through her each time she spoke of Jackson. Whitney worked at Oklahoma Heritage Bank in Ada as an Assistant Vice-President. She loved her job and enjoyed being a valued employee of the bank. In her high school years, she was a competitive softball player who always batted for base hits because, "Base hits score." Whitney never strayed far from her friends, and she continued that trend in college with "the Three Stooges." Whitney was a die-hard OU fan, and she especially loved Sooner football. She enjoyed travelling with her family. Her favorite trip was with Taylor and Jackson when they traveled to Grand Cayman Island, stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, swam with stingrays and sea turtles, and relaxed on the white, sugar sand Seven Mile Beach.

An epitome of a servant leader, Whitney loved life, people, and her boys, and she always cared for everyone else before herself. She was the best wife to Taylor – the two were a perfect match. They shared a passion for Jackson, their families, their careers, and sports, and their love for each other was felt by everyone else in the room. If you knew her, you know that she was "Whitney" and can never be replaced.

Survivors include her husband, Taylor, of the home; her son, Jackson Howard, of the home; her parents, Allen and Carol Bynum, of Stonewall; two sisters, Ashely Horne and husband Matt, and Lindsey Bynum; two brothers, Garth Bynum and Brenden Bynum; her grandparents, Dwayne and Carla Moon; and nieces and nephews, Liam, Lincoln, Braizley, A'mari, and Ja'Ziah.
