Wendell Weaver

Services for Wendell Weaver, 75, of Byars are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery, Stratford.

Mr. Weaver passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born March 18, 1944 at Allen to Jake and Carrie Larabee Weaver. He attended Spalding schools.

He married Gayle Blankenship November 6, 1964. Mr. Weaver was a truck driver and a member of the Byars Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gayle, of the home; a son, Steve Weaver of Stratford; and six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Danny Weaver; and a daughter, Cynthia Weaver.

Bearers will be Roy Hammonds, Berry Fletcher, Mark Rogers, Bill Sweeten, Larry Johnson and Terry Varnell.
