Wayne Yott

A visitation for Alan Wayne Yott, 60, of Konawa will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home.  Wayne passed away, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born July 12, 1964, at Ada, OK to Arlis and Ernestine Yott.  Wayne and his family lived in Konawa and moved to Vamoosa and he graduated from Konawa High School.  He married Cheryl Graham in 2004.

In 1984, Wayne went to work for JB's Welding.  Wayne was the shop foreman and retired in March of 2018 after 34 years of employment.  Wayne was loved by all his co-workers and known for his wit and hard work ethics.

Wayne and Cheryl enjoyed showing old trucks, their pool in the summer, and grandkids.  Wayne was incredibly passionate about his family and friends.  He loved spending time outside, working cows, and an occasional beer.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of the home; daughter, Cassie Holloway and her husband Eric of Ada; son, Trae Graham and his wife Shelby of Ada; mother, Ernestine Yott; he was "Papa" to his beautiful grandchildren, Lexi, Kyler, Emma, Peyson, Eli, Ean, Rowan, and great grandson, Kashtyn; brothers, Kenneth Yott and wife Janet, Wesley Yott and Wanda Hughes; Waylon Yott and wife Michelle; and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arlis Yott; father-in-law, Bob Hooser; and brother-in-law, John Hooser.
