ADA-Services for Wayne Allen Miller, 70, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve DeShazo will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born March 27, 1942 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Johnie Dean and Dorothy Mae Childers Miller.
He married Rozetta Ann Flowers on May 18, 1962 in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Miller was a Pumper for Kingery Drilling Company for 49 years, retiring in 1984. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the National Guard from 1961-1966.
Survivors include his wife, Rozetta Miller, of the home; two sons, John Wayne Miller and wife Karen, Garland, KS, and Jimmie Dean Miller and fiancé, Stephanie Waldie, Ada; a daughter, Rosa Lynn Richardson and husband Billy, Ada; a brother, Kenneth Miller and wife Marsha, Roff; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Hunter, Austin, Winter, Spreanne, Michael and Annie; and many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Tommy Roberts; and a brother, Ronnie Miller.
Bearers will be Tommy Glover, Russell Hampton, Jordan Miller, Hunter Miller, Austin Fick and David Edwards.
