WAYNE MCKISSACK
ADA-Services for Wayne Samuel McKissack, 85, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. McKissack died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at an Ada care center. He was born April 30, 1928 in Pontotoc, Oklahoma to Roy Franklin and Eva Belle Ray McKissack.
Mr. McKissack had been employed at Boeing Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas as an Inspector. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ada, and he had served in the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his children, Darlene Koske and her husband Gary of Bonaire, GA, Frank McKissack and his wife Kathy of Orlando, FL, Alice Masterson and her husband Jim, of Wichita, KS, and Larry McKissack of Wichita, KS; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Roy McKissack and Ray McKissack.
Bearers will be Gary Koske, Jim Masterson, Nick McKissack, Jason Masterson, Bill Shelby and Rick Carter.
