WARREN SCOTT
BYNG-Services for Warren Edward Scott, 68, of Byng, are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Venable will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Mr. Scott died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1946, in Ada, to Glen and Verda White Scott. He attended Ada Schools.
He married Connie Haney Aug. 19, 1969. Mr. Scott was currently employed at Legal Shield as an inventory warehouseman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served in the National Guard, retiring after 22 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Scott, of the home; two daughters, Kim Zlatar and husband Ivan of Allen, Texas, and Jennifer Hart and husband Jonathan of Monument, Colorado; a sister, Paula Stanford of Ada; a brother, Ricky Scott of Sapulpa; and two grandchildren, Gavin and Garrett Zlatar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Glenda Johnston and Deon Timmons.
Bearers will be Steven Stanford, Theron Carr, Ivan Zlatar, Jonathan Hart, Shawn Scott, Shannon Scott and Brandon Meeks. Honorary bearers will be Jim Owens, Gary Haney, Tom Haney, Roy Haney, Gary Newton and Mike Meeks.
