FITZHUGH-Services for Wanda Jean Turner, 70, Fitzhugh, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Raymond Brady will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Turner died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her home. She was born September 24, 1937 at Sedalia, Missouri to A. A. and Marrine Farmer Shahan. She attended Laxton and Fitzhugh schools.
She married Clarence Dwayne Turner on August 22, 1974 at Ada, Oklahoma. He died March 20, 2007. Mrs. Turner was a bookkeeper until her retirement.
Survivors include four sons, Jody Turner, Madill, Billy Turner, Pauls Valley, Jim Turner, Fitzhugh, and Charles Turner, Kingston; one daughter, Lisa Pryor, Ada; two brothers, Paul Shahan and wife Sue, Fitzhugh, and Alvin Shahan and wife Barbara, Fitzhugh; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and an aunt, Maxine Roundtree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harold Shahan.
Bearers will be Jim Turner, Chris Turner, Jody Turner, Cody Turner, Charles Turner, and Doug Paschal.
