Wanda Jean Phillips

A Celebration of Life for Wanda Jean Phillips, 88, of Roff will be 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Roff City Hall.

Mrs. Phillips passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at a local hospital. She was born February 12, 1931 at Roff .

She married Murl Dean Phillips September 3, 1947. He preceded her in death January 11, 2017. Mrs. Phillips was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 31 years in Austin, TX. She retired at the age of 62 and she and her husband moved back to Roff in 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Sonny Phillips and wife Rachel and Earl Phillips and wife Allie; four grandsons, Dean Phillips and wife Shawnelle, Jason Phillips and wife Gina, Chris Phillips and wife Krystina and Earl Jr. (Corky) Phillips; a granddaughter, Kimberly Phillips; her great-grandchildren, Adrena Lopez, Breana Lopez, Dillan Soliz, Brianna Phillips, James Phillips, Abby Guinn, Zeek Lumley, Matt and Zac McMillen, Callen Phillips and Ester Phillips; her great-great-grandchildren, Athena Vail Lumley and Nia Sue Lumley and Jaslyn Marie on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, H.E. "Bob" and Ella Caroline Jones and a sister Gloria "Tootie" McCain.
