Wanda Summers Northcutt

Wanda Summers Northcutt, 86, of Kingston, OK passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August, 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home on Friday, August 18, 2017.

Wanda Sue Eppler was born to the late James Lee and Menta Estelle Eppler on April 6, 1931 in Ada, OK. She attended Byng Schools and Oklahoma State University. She married Don Edward Summers November 23, 1950. They made their home in Ada where they raised their six children until his death. She later married Dwayn Northcutt June, 1988 and they resided in the community of Buncombe Creek at Lake Texoma.

Survivors include husband Dwayn Northcutt of the home; daughters, Donna Burkey and husband Skip of Edmond, Mitzi Flanagan and husband Justin of Stonewall and Mandi Henry and husband Brent of Ada; sons, Mark Summers and wife Karen of Combine, TX, and Noel Summers and wife Valerie of Moore; grandchildren, Dane Burkey, Zach Burkey, Cory Schritter and wife Elizabeth, Matt Summers, Jake Summers, Colton Summers, Garrett Summers and wife Kristen, Savannah Roberts and husband Richie, Amanda Summers, Hannah Hartshorn and husband Shaden, Micah Summers, Amber Frazier and husband Tyler, Bo Scribner and wife Joan, Josh Scribner and wife Brettney, Christopher Flanagan, Lane Flanagan, Ryan Henry, and Raegan Henry; as well as 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Don Summers; son, Neal Summers; grandson Keith; her parents; and eleven siblings.

Wanda was a very caring and compassionate lady. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family unconditionally. She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing.

Bearers will be her grandsons, Dane Burkey, Zach Burkey, Cory Schritter, Matt Summers, Jake Summers, Colton Summers, Garrett Summers, Bo Scribner, Josh Scribner, Ryan Henry and Lane Flanagan.
