ADA-Services for Wanda Mae Northcutt, 66, of Ada, area 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Rev. Linda Snelling will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Northcutt died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at an Ada hospital. She was born October 1, 1947 in Middleberg, Oklahoma to Albert George and Reba Porter Nixon. She attended Middleberg and Blanchard Schools. She later received an Associate Degree.
She married Don Northcutt on August 31, 1967. Mrs. Northcutt was a Headstart Teacher and later, was the Assistant Manager for the Holiday Inn in Ada for over 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Don Northcutt, of the home; a son, Casey Northcutt and his wife Tawanda of Ada; two granddaughters, Casandra Mae Northcutt and Destanie Grotts; a grandson, William Northcutt; two great grandchildren, Andrya Grotts and Kayno Grotts; two sisters, Donna June Gustafson of Middleberg and Alta Northcutt of Ada; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kimberly Northcutt; and a brother, Don Nixon.
Bearers will be Jerry Ensey, John Ensey, David Northcutt, Roy Terry, Timothy Gustafson, Scott Ward, David Rushing and Kevin Heck.
