LOCKESBURG, AR-Services for Wanda Lee Jordan, 70, Lockesburg, AR, formerly of Allen are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Calvin Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. James Lawrence will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time.
Mrs. Jordan died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at her home. She was born September 10, 1940 at Atwood, Oklahoma to Cash H. and Vira Viola Johnston Dicketts. She attended Allen schools and graduated from Allen High School.
She married Michael Harvey Jordan on October 12, 1962 in Ada, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2010 at Lockesburg, AR. Mrs. Jordan was an assembly technician for AT & T, later Lucent Technologies. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shreveport, LA.
Survivors include a son, Mark Jordan and wife Alisha, Lockesburg, AR; one brother, Junior Dicketts, Calvin; three grandchildren, Mikayla Jordan, Amber Jordan and Alana Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and two great great nieces.
