Wanda Blankenship

Services for Wanda Janette Blankenship, 89, of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God of Prophecy in Allen, Rev. Ed Rutherford will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Mrs. Blankenship passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at her home. She was born June 20, 1931 at Ada to Arthur Norman and Thelma Pample Smith Raney.

She married Lonna Cara (L.C.) Blankenship January 26, 1950 at Ada. Mrs. Blankenship was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include her husband, L. C., of the home; a grandson, Kelly Blankenship of Allen; a brother, Don Raney of Calvin; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Blankenship; daughter, Vickie Blankenship; sisters, Jean and Ruth; and brother, Mitchell.

Bearers will be Gary Cooley, Matt Cooley, Ferman Traylor, Heath Traylor, Del Johnson and Jared Johnson. Honorary bearers will be Ed McKerley, Bob Brown, Leon Boyd and Darrell Boyd.
