Obituary

STONEWALL-Services for Walter Burl Jordan, 77, Stonewall, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ on 32nd Street. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Stonewall.
Mr. Jordan died Friday, June 7, 2013, at his home. He was born May 15, 1936, to Louie "Dutch" and Vanoy Taylor Jordan at Wapanucka. Mr. Jordan was employed with the City of Oklahoma City as a mechanic for police vehicles and later as a mechanic for the State of Oklahoma. After moving to the Stonewall area in 1986, he owned Jordan's Kerr McGee Service Station and Garage. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He and Wilma Lee Prince were married May 15, 1959. She died June 29, 2010.
Survivors include three daughters, Anettia Criswell, Cassville, Missouri, Laveta Kay Linnhuber, Stonewall, and Evelyn Jean Jordan, Stonewall; one son, Edwin Dean Jordan, Stonewall; two sisters, Carolyn Winkler, Bakersfield, California, and Roxanne Porter, Durant; two brothers, Danny Ray Reed, Oklahoma City, and Dwight Reed; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Earl Jordan, Freddie Jordan and Johnny Lee Reed; and his sister, Mary Ann Hampton.
