Vonda Factor

Services for Vonda Ann Factor, 67, of Pontotoc are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Randy Wade and Allen Beck will officiate. Burial will follow at Seeley Chapel at Pontotoc. A Wake service will be 6:00 p.m. Sunday at her family home.

Mrs. Factor passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her home. She was born January 20, 1953 at Connerville to Andrew David and Minnie Carter Gipson.

She married Vernon Factor on August 19, 2010. He preceded her in death in May 2012. Mrs. Factor was an employee of the Chickasaw Nation, for over 20 years, until her retirement, and a member of the Yellow Springs Church.

Survivors include two sons, Frankie Worcester and wife Ashley, Stonewall and Bobby Tyson, Pontotoc; two daughters, Cheresta Tyson, Pontotoc and Rachel Brown and Schott Pitman, Ada; 26 grandchildren, Levi, Maddison, Stormy, Ashley, Christian, Sonny, Chelsea, Kelsey, Sadie, Samantha, Kristen, Zarah, Kat, Bobby, Dakoda, Jasmine, Gage, Mya, A. J., Nuk, La'Deja, Damein, Kaden, Aaron, Braydon, and Lizabella; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Gipson and wife Amanda, Sasakwa; sister, Barbara Martinez, Dallas, TX; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Jason Tyson, Shawn Gipson and Sampson Tyson; two brothers, Leslie Gipson and James Gipson; and three grandchildren, Kaden Tyson, Baby Gipson and Samantha Tyson.

Bearers will be Shannon Carter, Watson Wagon, Josh Factor, Ronald Gipson, Bear Gipson and Eric Tyson. Honorary bearers will be Larry Colbert and Mary Fox.
