VIRGINIA STONECIPHER
ADA-Services for Virginia Lee Stonecipher, 80, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Derek Altom will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mrs. Stonecipher died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born June 30, 1932 at Ada, Oklahoma to Jesse and Myrtle Ruby Fortenberry Newton. She attended area schools.
She married Lucas Stonecipher on July 20, 1976 in Lovington, New Mexico. Mrs. Stonecipher worked for Hayes School Cafeteria for 11 years. She was a member of the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Luke Stonecipher, of the home; daughter, Kathy Heck and her husband Kenneth of Ada; son, Charlie Stonechiper of Ada; and daughters, Paula Kelsey of Bochito, OK, Theresa Stonecipher of Redding, CA; a daughter-in-law, Trina Ragland, Ft. Worth, TX; four granddaughters, Shauna Rucker, Plano, TX, Susan Ragland, Ft. Worth, TX, Jennifer Feighner and her husband Erik, Tulsa, and Heather Ragland, Ft. Worth, TX; two grandsons, Kenny Heck, Ada, and Casey Stonecipher, TX; three great granddaughters, Tuesdey Rucker, Plano, TX, Brooke Feighner, Tulsa, and Camryn Feighner, Tulsa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Steven Lee Ragland and Rick Ragland; great grandson, Davin Rucker; and three sisters, Lela Johnson, Patsy Suddock, and Estelle DiGovanni.
