Virginia Spann

Services for Virginia Ruth Spann, 73, of Ada, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Byng Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Roger Arter will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.

Mrs. Spann died Monday, June 21, 2021 at her home. She was born November 9, 1947 in Ahloso. She was blessed to have 2 sets of parents, Albert Wesley and Sammie Lee Booker Reed, and John Reed and Myrtle Mobley. She graduated from Stonewall High School in 1966 with Honors. She received a Perfect Attendance Certificate from the Governor of Oklahoma for not being tardy or missing any school days for 12 years.

She married Willie Junior Spann, July 5, 1968 at Ahloso Baptist Church. He preceded her in death in 2018. Mrs. Spann was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Randy Spann, Jr. of Ada; a daughter, Lisa Clark, of Ada; sister, Alice Faye Reed and family, Wichita, KS; two granddaughters, Destiny Soden and husband Cody, Ada, OK and McKenzie Clark, Ada, OK; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jaina and Jyn Soden; two honorary daughter's, Emily Cooper and Trina Fender; and numerous special family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Roy Reed, Garland Reed, and Freddie Reed, and sister-in-law, Gloria Reed

Bearers will be Jeff Cali, Bradly Tuter, Randy Spann, Shane Moore, Shaun Axton, and Rick Guyton. Honorary Bearers are Jamie Tuter, Howard Cooper, Mike Fender, and Ashlan Pruitt.
