Virginia Johnson
Services for Virginia Dee (Creech) Johnson, 58, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2100 E. Arlington, Ada. Burial will be at Maxwell Cemetery near Oil Center.
Virginia went to heaven to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Virginia and Robert were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in Hawaii.
She was born January 2, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to Milus Creech and Ila Fern Terry Creech. She was the youngest of four children.
Virginia and Robert Johnson met on a blind date where they were introduced by his best friend Dudley and his wife Jolene. They were married four months later on October 17, 1975. From this union two children were born.
Virginia graduated from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, TX. After raising her children, she went to college and received her Bachelor's Degree on July 31, 2002, her Master's Degree on May 4, 2005 and on October 1, 2012, she received her certificate as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Pilot's license in 1985.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Creech and one sister, Betty Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Johnson, of the home; one son, Logan Johnson, of the home; one daughter, Kristian Headrick of Broken Arrow; one sister, Reneé Creech of Mansfield, TX; sister-in-law, Anna Sires of Shawnee; brother-in-law, Glen Sires of Shawnee; two nieces, Heather Moore, Tecumseh and Crystal Barger of Shawnee; one nephews, Kyle Sires of Stillwater; seven great-nieces and great-nephew.
Virginia was a very talented artist, woodcrafter and she loved to sew. She had a passion for growing flowers and vegetables. It was in her heart to help the clients in her practice of counseling. She was an active member of her church.
