ALLEN-Services for Viola Estell Crow, 71, Allen, are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Kelly McLeroy will officiate. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Crow died Friday, January 18, 2008 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born December 2, 1936 at Olney, Oklahoma to Reeves Sterling and Ruth B. Jones McLeroy. She lived in Atoka, attended Atoka schools and graduated from Atoka High School in 1954. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, and a Master's degree in Math and Science from East Central University in Ada.
She married David Glen Crow on May 28, 1957 in Atoka, Oklahoma. Mrs. Crow was an elementary school teacher for the Tupelo School System for 29 years, retiring in 1999. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, David Crow, of the home; two daughters, Terry Martin, Allen, and Diana Martinez and husband David, Oklahoma City; a sister, Darnell Briscoe, Fox, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jimmy McLeroy and wife Dorothy, Blanchard, and Roger McLeroy and wife Jodi, Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Karmen Holman and husband Thomas, Allen, and Nico Martinez, Oklahoma City; and one great grandson, Preston Holman, Allen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth B. Johnson.
