Vicky Lynn Gates

Memorial services for Vicky Lynn Gates, 72, of Pauls Valley, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Chad Large will officiate.

Mrs. Gates passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at a Pauls Valley nursing home. She was born March 30, 1947 at Ada to Pete Edward and Charlotte Miller Pallas. She attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School.

She married Dale Gates June 10, 2000 at Paoli. He preceded her in death October 13, 2019. Mrs. Gates was a Certified Nurse Assistant for the Pauls Valley State School until her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed crocheting, reading and taking care of her family.

Survivors include three daughters, Belinda Kindrick and husband Kevin, Ada, Karin Nuner and husband Phillip, Stonewall and Morgan Gates, Pauls Valley; a step-daughter, Crystal Teel; her grandchildren, Shade Kindrick, Kaden Kindrick and Katelyn Kindrick, all of Ada, Preston Nuner and wife Alyssa, Stonewall, Camron Nuner and wife Missy, Del City and Kion Raper, Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Edward Pallas; her mother, Charlotte Miller Bates; and her husband Dale Gates.
