VERNON FACTOR
PONTOTOC- Services for Vernon Clark Factor, 62, of Pontotoc, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Wade and Allen Beck will officiate. Burial will follow at Seeley Blue Cemetery. A Wake service will be held Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Factor died Friday, May 18, 2012 at his home. He was born January 31, 1950 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Cleo Factor and Zora Lee Johnson Factor. He attended Pontotoc and McLish schools.
He married Vonda Gipson Tyson on August 19, 2010. Mr. Factor was employed for 16 years by the Chickasaw Nation in facilities and maintenance and was also a self-employed fence builder.
Survivors include his wife Vonda Factor, of the home; two daughters, Cheresta Tyson of Pontotoc, Rachel Brown of Stonewall; four step-sons, Frankie Worcester of Ada, Shawn Gipson of Ada, Bobby Tyson of Tulsa and Sam Tyson of Tulsa; one sister, Regina Robbins of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four brothers, James Factor of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Clifford Factor of Connerville, Stanley Factor of Ada, and Anthony Factor of Connerville; 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Duane Factor and a nephew Damein Coltz.
Bearers will be Sonny Pearce, Chance Factor, Josh Factor, Jared Factor, Jacob Factor and Jerry Johnson. Honorary Bearers will be Doug Hook, Curtis Bond, Gerald Hart and A-Team of the Chickasaw Nation.
