VELMA WYCHE
YUKON-Services for Velma Lois Wyche, 92, Yukon, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wyche died Friday, December 30, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born September 12, 1919 at Conway, Arkansas to Evett Monroe and Tempie Stella Stout Beeson. She attended school in Arkansas.
She married Lindsey "Pud" Wyche in December 1940. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1969. Mrs. Wyche was a physical therapy assistant at Valley View Regional Hospital retiring in 1986. She was a longtime member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly "Pete" Wyche of Yukon; a sister, Emma Jean Blansett of Moore; a brother, Milton Beeson of Bullhead City, AZ; a granddaughter she reared, Toni Stogsdill of Yukon; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and 3 great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna B. Miller Beach; and a son, Holbert L. Wyche.
Bearers will be Don Sexton, Jim Sexton, Ronnie Sexton, Harral Harbin, Terry Manuel, Jim Stogsdill and Tommy Killian.
