VELMA HENDERSON
ADA-Graveside services for Velma L. Henderson, 92, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. The Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henderson died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born March 21, 1915 in Seminole County to Burl D. and Bonnie Martindale Lane. She attended schools in Seminole County. She moved with her family moved to this area in 1945.
She married Paul R. Henderson on December 11, 1930 in Seminole County. He died on January 9, 1992. She was a sales associate with Morelock's OK Furniture and Hudson furniture.
She was preceded in death by a son, Olan Henderson, and three great grandsons.
Survivors include three sons, Gene Henderson and his wife Joy, Don Henderson and his wife JoAnn, and Jerry Henderson and his wife Dean, all of Ada; two daughters, Ethelene Golden and her husband Horace, Ada, and Jeraldine Carroll, Edmond; three brothers, C.H. Lane, Jenks, OK, Eldon Lane, Texarkana, TX, and Jerald Lane, Baton Rouge, LA; twenty-two grandchildren; sixty-three great grandchildren; and twenty-three great-great grandchildren.
