VELMA HART
SULPHUR-Services for Velma Vernice Hart, 70, of Sulphur, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home in Ada, Norman Talbot will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hart died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born July 11, 1942 at Anderson, Indiana to William and Ula Leah Jones Hendren.
She married Lyle E. Hart in 1961 in Winchester, Indiana. Mrs. Hart was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle E. Hart, of the home; her sons, Lyle Hart, Decatur, TX and Verlyn Hart of Lynn, IN; her daughters, Dianna McCullough, Greenville, OH, Beverly McPhearson, Sulphur, OK, and Marilyn McCracken, Sulphur, OK; her brothers, Buck Hendren, Greenfield, IN, Vernon Hendren, Gunbarrel, TX; her sisters, Leah Sallee, Grapevine, TX, Wilma Stanley, KY, and Beverly Brandes, Weatherford, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Hendren; sister, Rebecca Snelson; and a daughter, Harriett Favorite.
