CHRISTINE BOTTOM
ADA-Services for Christine Bottom, 77, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Glen Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Mt. View, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Bottom died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her home. She was born July 23, 1931 at Ada, Oklahoma to Haskell L. and Alice Lakey Millican. She graduated from Ada High School.
She married Noah Burnett Bottom on October 19, 1979. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1999. Mrs. Bottom was a Supervisor for AT & T Longlines, retiring after 20 years of service. She was also a Goodwill Ambassador for AT & T Longlines in Japan and Korea. Later, she was the owner and operator of Parkview Café in Ada. Mrs. Bottom was a member of Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Jones Cainglit, Ada; one son, Jimmie C. Jones, Byng; a grandson, Christopher Joseph Jones, California; two brothers, Raymond Millican, Fresno, California and Jerry Millican, Fresno, California; and two sisters, Betty Holton, Arkansas and Mary Knight, California.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wayne Jones.
