TWILA TATUM
GERTY-Services for Twila Lee Tatum, 67, of Gerty are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Allen, Rev. Lonnie Palmer, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Gerty Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until service time.
Mrs. Tatum died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at her home. She was born October 15, 1946 to Virgil Lee and Ireta Maxine Schwartz Bradshaw. She graduated from U. S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City in 1964.
She married Clifford D. Tatum on February 19, 1965. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2013. Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker and a matriarch of the family.
Survivors include three sons, Vincent B. Tatum and wife Felecia of Ada, Sheldon D. Tatum and wife Andrea of Gerty, and Preston L. Tatum and Justin of Oklahoma City; a sister, Rozena Weaver of Westville, OK; a brother, David Bradshaw of Noble; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Tatum.
Bearers will be Bobby Taylor, Daren Evans, Charlie Bob Evans, Jim Searcy, James Gammil and Brady Bradshaw.
