Truman Frazier

Private family services will be held for Truman James Frazier, 71, of Ada. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors. A public gathering for family and friends will be held from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Marie Bailey Center in Ada.

Mr. Frazier passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home. He was born December 28, 1945 at Talihina to James J. and Evelyn Ida Byrd Frazier.

He married Anita Carol Lawrence September 15, 1995 at Oklahoma City. Mr. Frazier was an Oil Technician at Holcim Cement Company until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Anita, of the home; two sons, Brian Frazier and wife Kisha and Ritchie Frazier and wife Angela, all of Ada; a daughter, Melanie Parsons and Justin Lindsey, Sulphur; step-son, Bryan Shumard, Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Melissa McQuiston and husband Ray, Ada; two brothers, Don Frazier and Dennis Frazier, both of Ada; three sisters, Nancy Sinclair, Ada, Nina Crossley and husband Lee, Del City, and Kay West and husband Ron, Ada; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mandy Kennedy and Laura Watson.
