TRUMAN COFFEY
STONEWALL-Services for Truman Coffey, 72, Stonewall, are 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Lovelady Baptist Church, Revs. Tony Peak and Joe Howry officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Coffey died on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born September 8, 1936, at Byng to Emit and Selah Alice Dunham Coffey. He graduated from Byng High School in 1954. He retired in 1998 from the Sales Tax Enforcement Department of the Oklahoma Tax Commission. He served on the first Byng Town Council and was a member of Lovelady Baptist Church.
He married Patricia Deaton on July 27, 1956, in Byng.
Survivors include his wife Pat Coffey, of the home; three daughters, Trudy Green and her husband Tim, Bartlesville; Tresa Euper and her husband Tom, Ada; Trisha Wilson and her husband Lynn, Ada; two sisters, Dorthy Coffey, Ada; and Joyce Davis, Kingston; six grandchildren, Josh Green and his wife Melissa, Jaylie Green, Jared Euper and his wife Laticia, Jill Taylor and her husband Curtis, Karlie Wilson and Kacie Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harley Coffey, and two sisters, Rachel Kaiser and Naomi Kaiser.
Bearers are Tim Green, Tom Euper, Lynn Wilson, Jared Euper, Josh Green and Curtis Taylor. Honorary bearers are Bob Barrett, Wayne Case, Ray Starkey and Bill Snyder.
