TRACY PHILLIPS
ADA-Memorial services for Tracy Allen Phillips, 42, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Phillips died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1968 at Idabel, Oklahoma to Billy Dewayne and Velma Jean Johnson Phillips. Tracy lived at his family home in Broken Bow until the age of nine. At that time, he moved to Pauls Valley State School where he resided until the age of 29. In June, 1997 Tracy moved to DJK Enterprises, Inc. in Ada where he resided until his death. He was very active in the Special Olympics.
Survivors include his mother, Velma Allen, Broken Bow; a sister, Corina Rouse, St. Cloud, FL; brother, Christopher Allen, Broken Bow; five uncles, Jack Johnson, Wright City, James Johnson, Broken Bow, Frank Johnson, Broken Bow, Benny Phillips, Ft. Smith, AR, and Tommy Phillips, Ada; his roommates, Bob Vanarsdell and Charles Chiles; and his DJK family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Phillips.
Honorary bearers will be Bob Vanarsdell, Charles Chiles, Jason Byrd, Joe Kennedy, Terry Sanders, Dave Herriman, Russell Holmes, Bill Richmond, and Damien Greenlee.
