TOY HARRISON

ROFF-Private graveside services for Toy Martin Harrison, 79, Roff, were 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lightning Ridge Cemetery, Rev. Roger McMahan officiated. The Chickasaw Honor Guard conducted military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Harrison died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at his home. He was born February 1, 1929 at Roff, Oklahoma to Ilie and Jewell Grinstead Harrison. He lived in the Roff area most of his life and attended Roff schools.

He married Doris Fanning on May 7, 1948 at Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Harrison was employed in the oilfield in Odessa, Texas, and later owned and operated a T. V. Repair Shop and Service Station in Roff. He also worked at the Sand Plant in Roff. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II for two years and was affiliated with the Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Harrison, of the home; two daughters, Marilyn Andrews and husband Joel, Roff, and Tylene Teel and husband Herbert, Ada; a son, Gary Harrison, Roff; a brother, Haskell Harrison and wife Barbara, Ada; grandchildren, Marla Harrison, McLoud, Marty Harrison and wife Andi, Blanchard, Shane Andrews and wife Jennifer, Roff, Buddy Andrews and wife LaDeana, Roff, Robin McCullar and husband Jerel, Roff, Jeffrey Teel, Tulsa, and Michael Teel, Ada; five great grandchildren, Bryton, Brinlee, Jagger, Maddux, and Haley; and a special pet, Pepper.
