Tommy Clint Smith: February 15, 1960 – September 20, 2019

Services for Tommy will be held at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 10 a.m., Daniel Melton will officiate. He will be proudly escorted to his final resting place by a troupe of motorcycle riders honoring him, with his bike leading the way. He will be buried at Troy Cemetery, located in Troy, OK, close to his mother and brother.

Tommy Clint Smith, 59, was well known in Ada, OK and the surrounding areas for his painting services. Tommy Smith Painting was trusted and utilized for over 40 years. Tommy was a friend to all, and loved by many. He would help anyone who needed assistance, and would put anyone to work, if he thought they needed a job. He was an avid pool player and bar connoisseur. He loved his animals and was known for taking care of the town strays.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Clint O. Smith, his mother, Ethel Burden, a brother, Dennis Smith and two nephews, Brian K. Smith and Tommy C. Smith.

He is survived by his two sisters, Donna Melton of Ada, and Cindy Nanney of Byng, one brother, Brian Smith of Ada, several nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends. Tommy also leaves behind many beloved pets.

There will be a family visitation service held Tuesday evening, from 7-9 p.m., at Criswell Funeral Home. Please join the family to share your memories of Tommy. A dinner will be held immediately following the burial services, at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center in Ada.

Paul bearers for Tommy include his brother, Brian Smith, two brothers-in-law, Richard Melton and Felix Rodriguez, two nephews, Daniel and Justin Melton, and Will Bynum.

Honorary bearers are: Dale Berst, John Correll and Freddie Sweet, and his nephew-in-law, Russell Waller. Please join us in your Harley attire and blue jeans to celebrate Tommy's last farewell!
