TOMMY ROBERTS
ADA-Services for Tommy Woodrow Roberts, 66, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve DeShazo will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Veterans hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born April 23, 1942 near Ada, Oklahoma to Howard Woodrow and Nova Lucille Head Roberts. He attended Byng schools and graduated from Byng High School.
He married Wilma Miller August 17, 1963. Mr. Roberts was employed with Ideal Cement in California, Kingery Drilling Company and later with a local cab company. He served in the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Roberts, of the home; one daughter, Dorothy "Dottie" Boyer and husband Blane, Stillwater; four sisters, Charlene Payne, Lindsay, Nina O'Halloran, Hobbs, New Mexico, Brenda Harry, Twentynine Palms, CA, and Nancy McQueen, Apache Junction, AZ; three brothers, Lloyd Roberts, Surprise, AZ, Jimmy Roberts, Sacramento, CA, and Kelvin Roberts, Greeley, NE; two grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards and Daniel Gore, Stratford, and David Edwards, Ada; and two great grandchildren, Sylence Gore and Kaad Gore.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Roberts in 2003.
Bearers will be Keith Roberts, Daniel Gore, John Wayne Miller, Richard Gore, J. J. Adams, and Jeremy Crewse.
