TOMMY MCNEILL
OWL CREEK-Services for Tommy Lee McNeill, 66, Owl Creek, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Lovelady Baptist Church, Revs. Tony Peak and Joe Howry will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
Mr. McNeill died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born September 13, 1942 at Ada, Oklahoma to Avery T. and Velma Younts McNeill. He attended Washington Elementary in Ada and graduated from Stonewall High School.
He married Diana Sue Townsend on May 22, 1965. She preceded him in death December 3, 2008. Mr. McNeill was a sales clerk for Dillon's Department Store in Ada, and later worked at the Quarry for Ideal Cement, now Holcium, Inc. Mr. McNeill served in the National Guard.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammie Stone and husband Richard, Vanoss, and Kara McDaniel and husband Jackie, Stonewall; two brothers, Bo McNeill, Enid, and Phillip McNeill, Owl Creek; four grandchildren, Caleb Stone, Nathan Stone, Kody McDaniel, and Jacie McDaniel.
Bearers will be Truman Teel, Don Teel, Sammie Townsend, A. G. Sanders, Bill Snyder, and Frank Jared. Honorary bearers will be Donneta Williams, Larry Cannon, Eugene Cannon, Charles Richmond, and Wayne Scroggins.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Kidney and Heart Research, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104-5097.
