Tommy Higdon

Services for Tommy Lee Higdon, 84 of Roff, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dennis Heath will officiate.  Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery, military honors will be conducted by the Chickasaw Honor Guard.

Mr. Higdon died Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Sulphur. He was born January 12, 1932 in Ahloso to Thomas Lee and Jessie Mae Nichols Higdon. He attended Roff Schools.

He married Alta Mae Nichols on January 6, 1954.  She preceded him in death on April 24, 2000.  Mr. Higdon was retired Iron Worker and also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include two daughters, Tommy Robison and husband Ronnie of Roff, and Vickie Garrett of Ada; five grandchildren, Amy Fick of Byng, Shane Henderson of Noble, Dustin Sheppard of Ada, Cody Sheppard of Roff and Paige Hilton of Texarkana, TX; ten great-grandchildren, Trestin McMillen, Tay McMillen, Will Sheppard, Zaydin Fick, Drew Sheppard, Kamryn Henderson, Nate Sheppard, Bryce Henderson, Addi Sheppard and Owen Sheppard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Cecil Higdon; a sister Mildred Henderson and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel McMillen and Kyndal Sheppard.
