OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Tommie Charles Bishop, 64, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Mayhue will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Bishop died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at his home. He was born April 28, 1946 at Ada, Oklahoma to Odis and Velma Lee Keeling Bishop. He attended Ada area schools.
He married Charlene Hopper on October 20, 1966. She preceded him in death on November 30, 1989. Mr. Bishop was a machinist for Cameron Valves and Measurements in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Uhlich and husband Delton, Fittstown, and Amanda Morgan and husband Dwayne, Ada; four grandchildren, Brittani Bishop, Amory Morgan, Dayton Morgan, and Jaxon Morgan; one great grandson, Mason Simpson; two brothers, Jerry Bishop, Oklahoma City and Jimmy Bishop, Oklahoma City; and three sisters, Barbara Bynum, Jesse, Patricia Latshaw, Stonewall, and Shirley Sanders, Jesse.
Bearers will be Billy Sanders, Robert Sanders, Scotty Latshaw, Johnny Latshaw, Steve Reid and Jerome Brown. Honorary bearer will be his brother, Jimmy Bishop.
