Graveside services for Genevira "Toby" Lirette, 98, of Salina, OK, formerly of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Maxwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Lirette passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at a nursing home in Salina, OK. She was born August 6, 1922 to Otto F. and Beulah Covington Newby. She attended Maxwell school through the 9 ^th grade.

She married Marcus J. Lirette (deceased) in 1972 and resided in Houma, LA until she relocated to Oklahoma in 2014.

Survivors include a son, Floyd Byrd, Jr., Ada; step daughter, Patricia Benton Greenwood; step daughter-in-law, Lawanda Byrd Grass; four grandchildren, Lori Perry, Lisa Miller, Stephanie Franklin and Tammy Byrd Bean; ten great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marcus Lirette; two sons, Frank Byrd and Wayne Byrd; and two sisters, Gee Day and Billie Conner.
