TOMMY RUTLEDGE
ADA-Services for Thomas Ivan "Tommy" Rutledge, 58, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Jesse Cemetery south of Stonewall.
Mr. Rutledge died Friday, August 29, 2014 at a local nursing home. He was born February 8, 1956 at Ada, Oklahoma to Olef Juston and Katherine Elizabeth Sanders Rutledge. He lived in this area all his life and attended Ada schools.
He married Angela Darlene Dennis on July 7, 2007 in Summerville, Georgia. Mr. Rutledge was cement worker in Ada for many years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Rutledge, of the home; two sons, Robert Earl Rutledge and Justin Ivan Rutledge, both of Ada; three daughters, Robin Elaine Rutledge, Kathy Sue Rutledge and Kimberly Dawn Golden, all of Ada; two step-sons, Brandon Rutledge of the home, and Tim Rutledge of Summerville, GA; a sister, Marcella Cruz and husband Daniel of Ada; a brother, Hurshell Rutledge of Tyler, TX; 4 granddaughters; three grandsons; a special cousin, Ronnie Henley of Ada; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, John Fowler; and a sister-in-law, Sallye Rutledge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister, and a granddaughter, Chenoa Dawn Rutledge.
Bearers will be Marcus Cruz, Daniel O. Cruz, Daniel M. Cruz, Kenny Pearce, Brandon Cox and Lalo Cruz. Honorary bearer will be Ronnie Henley.
