THOMAS MARTIN
ADA-Memorial services for Thomas J. Martin, 57, Ada, are 3:00 P.M. Monday at Abba's House Worship Center, Rev. Ken Angel officiating.
Mr. Martin died on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at his home. He was born April 22, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Sila and Thelma Duncan Martin. He retired from employment with Tyson Chicken in Dardanelle, Arkansas.
He married Shirley Ruth Murphy on February 14, 1984, in Van Buren, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ruth Martin, of the home; step-children, Walter Lee Murphy, Radford, Tennessee; Paul Carlas Murphy, Van Buren, Arkansas; Mary Ruth Jones, Van Buren, Arkansas; Wilma Lea James, Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Becky Davis, Ada; and Clark Eugene Davis, Van Buren, Arkansas; 19 step grandchildren; 18 step great grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Cox, Heff, Arkansas and Janet Pakr, Forest City, Arkansas.
